It is here...!!! Invicta Subaqua Noma III .... this is a beautiful timepiece

I have been thinking about getting either a Subaqua Noma III or an Invicta Akula Reserve . Well i decided to give it a go the Subaqua Noma III. I waited for 5 days for my watch to arrive. when it did I could not wait with anticipation to open the box. I thought i was ready to see what was on inside the box. But I was wrong... the watch inside the box, I was more than surprised. I was completely taken by the beauty of the watch. I read so many watch blogs and i read people bashing Invicta and i still cannot understand why.. I own 10 invicta watches every single one is a made with very high quality materials and the operate perfectly. Besides being very good looking, affordable and easy to wear. I can sit here and try to describe my Subaqua Noma III, but i think the best way to describe it is just by saying the watch is Beautiful and then show the pictures.. so here they are:

I love the screw down chronometer pushers and the protection on the crown, the bak is also beautiful and you can appreciate the Swiss Made marking.

Powered By Light... Citizen Eco Drive Perpetual Calendar

When i was a teenager my father gave me a beautiful Citizen watch, it was stainless steel with a blue-gray face, automatic. I used that watch every day until one day it actually fell apart. I was very fond of that watch so i decided to look for a Citizen watch a few months ago. When I visited my trusted watch dealer, he recommended i go with an eco-drive. i was really impressed when learned that the Eco-Drive was not a quartz, or Automatic but instead Solar Powered. I started looking at the options and settled for a Perpetual Calendar Model. Beatiful stainless steel chronograph/Alarm/Dual Time/Perpetual Calendar watch with a nice red bezel, and black face with luminous hands and hour markers. This a a very nice time piece that i enjoy regularly. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

this watch is super confortable to wear... and hey i never need to worry about putting a new battery or keeping it in a winder. Just keep it expose to light and i will run for ever!!! That is a smart buy!

My Invicta Watch Collection

I for one love a good looking Watch at affordable price... and for that you cannot go wrong with Invicta. Every watch i have purchased from them has been high quality at low prices. You cannot beat it. They use Swiss and Japanese Quartz and Automatic Movements, and some models are actually made in Switzerland as well. They became famous for their Luppa watches ( i do not have any of those... not my cup of tea) but then they started bringing some Diver Watches, and some other interesting watches like the Russian Diver Collection, and the Ocean Ghost collection, and the like. Funky Chinese/Swiss Watch!

This is probably one of the best examples of a new trend! Basically Chinese Made pieces out- fitted with 2 Swiss Made movements. One automatic movement to drive the second hand featured as a skeleton and Quartz to drive the hour and minute hands. Yes, 2 movements very Gimmicky but the watch is very good looking and believe it or not well made. I paid about 40 dollars for it, but feels are good a Citizens or Seiko on the wrist. Not a very heavy piece even though it has a 50mm case and a huge Screw Cap to protect the crown. Take a look! I love the rose color stainless steel and the black roman numerals around the dial. Even the name sounds like a Genuine Swiss made watch but do not get fooled it is not. It is made in China, with Swiss movements. Nevertheless when i wear this watch i get lots of complements!

I love collecting old watches but i do like the newer watches as well. The newer models are bit more fun to wear and are very distinctive in design and the materials used. They are bigger as well, with some models having diameters of 41 MM to 52 MM.

Here are a few of my newer models:

32 Degrees - Elevation -Model 9855 - The 32 Degrees Elevation has an automatic movement with 20 jewels, the case is 47mm x 15mm stainless steel with a screw-down diver's cap, curved sapphire coated mineral crystal, an exhibition back with Côtes de Genève bridges and rotor. The water resistant up to 5 ATM. The complications include, dual time hour -minute sub-dials (can be used as a regulator function), big date window at 12 o'clock marker, day window at 3 o'clock, month window at 9 o'clock , and luminous hands and hour markers. The watch has chronometer style side buttons to set the date and the month complications, and a pin push button to sent the day. This is no perpetual calendar function by all means. You have to manually adjust the date from 30/31 to 1 (if you don't, the date counter will run to 39 before changing back to 1 ). I love the look of this watch with the face being a light red, with black numerals and second marks. The hands are aviator style, and the sub dials black and white. The date complication sits a bit too low to read easily, but the other windows are easy to read. The Crown is massive but interesting enough it is comfortable to wear. The one thing i love about this watch is all the attention it gets when i wear it.


Invicta II -Sport Chronograph Elite Model 4892 - Chronometer with a Tachymeter in the inner bezel, 3 sub-dials ( 2 upper ones measure the chronometer's minutes and hours, and the lower sub-dial regular second hand when the Chronometer is off). Stainless Steel case with Sapphire Chrystal, water proof to 100 meters, Japanese Quartz Movement, Date Complication, with the aperture at classic 3 pm position. This watch features silver -mica roman numerals on a white dial. The hands are luminescent aviator style. The Case is 44 mm about the size of the Invicta Pro-Diver. The watch is very comfortable to wear and it feels solid on your hand. The band is stainless steel with a woven pattern and a fold-over clasp.
